- Students also examine how English prose creates tone, rhythm, clarity, and effect
- The goal is to make language more vivid, memorable, and intentionally used

- This class is not only about grammar rules in isolation; it connects rules to writing, reading, and expression
- Depending on the session, students may respond through short writing, discussion, or language challenges
- Materials and example texts vary by session and are shared before kickoff
- No advanced writing background is required unless a future session says otherwise
